Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is the practice of helping individuals navigate their personal spiritual journey, and it encourages the exploration and development of a closer relationship with God. In the midst of a busy life, many people find it difficult to notice God’s action in their lives.

Spiritual direction can be in the context of a retreat or scheduled on a regular basis throughout the year. Through regular spiritual direction, a person can begin to integrate spirituality into daily life, discern and make difficult choices, and identify God in experiences.

Spiritual directors have specific training in assisting others with their spiritual journey. Usually, people meet with a spiritual director once a month for an hour. There is a suggested donation for each session.

To learn more about spiritual direction, view the video messages of Ron Rolheiser, OMI, and Mary Ann Scofield, RSM.
