We were so impressed by our experience at Chiara Center and more importantly, blessed. There's no question about where our next retreat will be. We've already requested the dates. Co-ordinator of the CCIW Chaplains' Retreat
Hospital Sisters of St. Francis

The Hospital Sisters of St. Francis is an international religious community that follows in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi. The members are committed to sharing in the healing mission of Jesus.

The Hospital Sisters of St. Francis built Chiara Center on the site of their St. John's Tuberculosis Sanatorium where Christ's healing was experienced from 1919-1973. Dedicated in 2007, Chiara Center continues the healing ministry of the Hospital Sisters by providing a place of beauty where the body, mind, and spirit are nurtured, illuminated and healed.

The American Province of the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis sponsors Hospital Sisters Health System, a multi-institutional healthcare system comprised of 14 hospitals and an integrated physician network across Illinois and Wisconsin. They also sponsor a mission in Tanzania, and Hospital Sisters Mission Outreach, which furthers their missionary spirit through a medical equipment/supply distribution and recycling program.

The Sisters invite you to share your prayer requests. Visit their Web site.
